I could not stop laughing when I saw these logos. Technology couldn't fix bad ideas, right?
A pediatric center, Dental clinic and Drugstore specialized in back injuries
PC repair store, Italian fashion brand and Hot-Dog Boutique
Institute for Oriental languages and Kids furniture and clothing store
You don't think they are funny? OH..never mind, maybe I am just too dirty.

We call it technology
Good news is I am moving out in January; bad news is I don't have internet access any more since At&t network is unavailable there where I am going to move in. It's stupid that my new home is in Sunnyvale, the center of Silicon Valley , where Yahoo's head office is located in. Also, my new home is very close to the location where I am living in right now, and I don't have any problem of computer access here. I don't understand what makes my new home become an isolated island that disconnect to the world wide web.
I had always trust in technology before I got in this situation. However, now I notice that technology is not as perfect as I thought. Since human is not perfect, technologies which are created by human certainly have a lot of problems. Some of those problems are even infixable. As a result, I don't want to have a life which depends on technology.

Imagination
"Time out" is an Estonian animation which produced by Priit Pärnin 1984 . It's a very classical animation without any graphic effect and high-tech things, but I am still surprised by its amazing idea. It proves that imagination is beyond every technology.
Involving in space exploration
last week, we had a debate about the necessity of space exploration. Folks brought up some interesting argument, such as defending aliens and transformers. However, in the debate, people concentrated on the political use of space exploration. Both of two sides considered intentions of space exploration are showing off power and preparing for war. Although I am against the idea of being involved in space exploration in the class discussion, I don't really consider space exploration is a dad thing.Instead, I am a space fan, but i don't think about those political purposes too much. In my opinion, the most exiting thing of space exploration is getting to understand facts of our universe. In "Should We Still Be Involved in Space Exploration", Clarence Page claims that "Space travel binds us together as a nation and touched our secret hope that there is something better waiting for us out there in the unknown." (Clarence, 651) I think such a "secret hope" is what encourages us keeping work on space exploration. Being satisfied of our curiosity is the best benefit which we get from the exploration, and it worths everything. We involve in space exploration for nothing but getting close to god.

practice
In "The Learning Curve", Atul Gawande states that "we need practice to get good at what we do," from his experience of medicine career. His description makes me recall the story of part-time job. I work in an assembly department of an electronic company. My job is to running the assembly-teach-in program in the computer with my partner. Actually, my partner is my instructor too. She teaches me all the skills of programming, and answer my questions when I get something which is confusing. However, I was too getting used to answer questions to her, so I don't even have the ability to work individually. I didn't notice it's a big deal until my parner took a one-month vocation. I got stuck on my work almost every few minutes without her. At that moment, I understand how important practice is. I have always worked depend on her and given up the chances of practice, and it's the worst habit of doing everything.

I am creating my first blog
Finally, I have my own blog. Actually, i don't like blogging; not because I have some repulsion of blogs , I just don't get use to write diaries online and I am too lazy to update my blog everyday. However, starting a blog is a homework assignment of my class, and i have to do it. Hopefully I will keep it up and have some fun on it.
